First and foremost, Mike is a family man. He describes his wife, Shari, with a single, unwavering sentiment, “She’s the absolute love of my life.” Shari works with deaf and deaf/blind children in their community, and Mike refers to her as “The Resident Philanthropist” of the house. Together, they raise a close-knit family of four kids – Peyton, Addi, Mason, and Tristan. They enjoy all things “family-related,” especially kids ’ sporting events, family vacations, and time at their lake house in central Minnesota.
You could say that franchising just found Mike. Mike started his career in advertising, and in 2004, he was recruited by AllOver Media, an advertising franchise, to head up their national expansion efforts. Mike bought his first franchise at the ripe old age of 28, and over the next decade, Mike successfully owned and ran two franchise businesses as a local franchisee. In 2014, Mike founded a consulting company that worked internally with franchise organizations to help them expand their footprint nationally. As a result of that work, Mike was recruited by the franchise powerhouse Regis Corp, where he became VP and Managing Equity Partner at Roosters Men’s Grooming Centers.
Mike is an investor in multiple franchise companies and his passion and enthusiasm for franchising shine through in everything he does.
SUSIE JANSKI
It could easily be said that Susie’s” life’s work” has been franchising. Like many other people in this industry, she fell into it by happenstance.
Her career began out of college at AllOver Media, a Minneapolis-based advertising franchise, in a Franchise Owner Support role. Little did she know she was about to become an integral part of the franchisee community and the in-house legal and development teams. Inspired by the franchisees she helped daily, she chased her entrepreneurial dreams.
At 27, Susie embarked on her first business venture, a Virtual Assistant Service, fueled by her passion for helping entrepreneurs.
Susie and her teams worked with world-class franchise companies, franchise executives, and owners as the client base grew. Susie has seen the franchise business from all angles, and as a result, she has a suite of talents that is very unique and unparalleled in the industry.
And now, with 20 years of experience under her belt, she is stepping out from behind the curtain and bringing her talents directly to the people. As a FranChoice Consultant, Susie looks forward to working with aspiring entrepreneurs to help them live the life of their dreams through business ownership.
Susie lives on a ranch in Wyoming where she enjoys boating, ATVs, hunting, running, and all things outdoors.
